For nearly four decades, Dr. Peter H. Raven shaped the Missouri Botanical Garden into a leading center for botanical science, conservation, and education. A globally recognized botanist and influential voice for biodiversity, he helped define the international conversation around the importance of plants and the urgent need to protect our planet.
